The Daily Telegram march 14, 1996: ... he served in the US Navy during World War II and received an Honorable discharge in may 1946. Albert along with his mother, father and brother owned and operated the Whiteville Elevator from 1937 until 1988. He also engaged in farming. He was a member of St. Mary's Church of Assumption and VFW Post #7574 in Lyons, Ohio.
Preceding him in death were his parents, brother George and granddaughter Tammy Pinkelman. Surviving is his loving wife Mary, two children Mrs Jerry (Dianne) Pinkelman of Lyons, Ohio, and Bill (Paula) Patteeuw of Adrian; and nine grandchildren
